Body Count Outside Kabul Airport Rises While Biden Claims No Reports About Americans Having Trouble Reaching the Airport

While the latest death toll outside of the Kabul airport does not appear to be the direct result of ISIS involvement yet, there are many who are worried about their impending arrival at the capital. The latest reports on this conflict come courtesy of the British military, which is actively working to assist their own countrymen. They have found at least seven additional bodies outside of the airport.

At the moment, it is uncertain as to whether these bodies fell due to Taliban gunfire. The Taliban has been firing periodically, in an effort to disperse the crowds. If we had to guess, these victims were probably trampled by the large crowds or suffered from extreme dehydration. The Associated Press has more:

“A panicked crush of people trying to enter Kabul’s international airport killed seven Afghan civilians in the crowds, the British military said Sunday, showing the danger still posed to those trying to flee the Taliban’s takeover of the country.

The deaths come as a new, perceived threat from the Islamic State group affiliate in Afghanistan has seen U.S. military planes do rapid, diving combat landings at the airport surrounded by Taliban fighters. Other aircraft have shot off flares on takeoff, an effort to confuse possible heat-seeking missiles targeting the planes.

The changes come as the U.S. Embassy issued a new security warning Saturday telling citizens not to travel to the Kabul airport without individual instruction from a U.S. government representative.”

Meanwhile, the White House continues to act as if nothing is wrong. They are telling the mainstream media that Americans can access the airport if they are looking to do so. Reporters who are actually on the ground are claiming that this is not so. Yes, flights are taking off and some have been able to make their way to various destinations, such as Germany.

On the other hand, these people were already inside of the airport before things got too out of hand. The number of Americans who remain trapped inside of the country is unknown at this time because Biden does not want anyone to know. He wants to continue to lie to the American people about the situation.

The planes that have been able to land and take off have also been forced to fire off flares, as a means of counteracting any heat-seeking missiles that may be fired at the aircraft. ISIS and the Taliban are obviously still major concerns. There are some who are trying to fool themselves by proclaiming that ISIS and the Taliban may end up fighting each other.

That is some wishful thinking if we ever heard it. Who are they more likely to fight against: an organization that shares many of their ideals or the United States of America? It’s not a very hard puzzle to put together at the moment. The enemy of my enemy is always going to be my friend and this is something that Biden and his cronies should have been aware of.

Biden is now considering the Civil Reserve Air Fleet program, according to the White House. If he invokes this program, commercial airlines would be asked to send passenger flights to third-country destinations, where passengers from Kabul could be picked up. From there, they would be taken to their American destination. Military planes would then be freed up to assist more passengers who are looking to leave Afghanistan as quickly (and safely) as possible.

This plan may pose a problem domestically, as flights are already being canceled on a regular basis. If we do not have enough planes to handle domestic travel, this could become a major snag. The United States now has eight days left before the evacuation deadline arrives. The Taliban says that they are going to be releasing the details of their new governance on the 31st. Biden had better act quickly or things are going to get very ugly.
