Republicans Take on the Fight For Fair Elections

Senator Ted Cruz is the unsung hero that is leading the fight to stop the certification of the stacked votes for Joe Biden. The pandemic gave the Democrats the perfect environment to cheat their way into the White House.

For years they have loathed the idea of President Trump undoing the socialist agenda that Obama left behind. But they have been caught cheating, and now people are looking for the Republicans to protect the country from their evil deeds.

Cruz is leading the effort to get enough Republicans to dispute the election results before they can be certified. The Democrats used the Electoral College to push Joe Biden into the White House using fake votes. The president took the issue to the courts buy had liberal judges refuse to see the evidence that was collected.

This issue has turned into more of a problem because future elections’ integrity is on the line. If the Democrats can get away with this kind of fraud, nothing can stop it from happening again in the future. Even if their efforts fail, the integrity of the electoral process must be preserved.

Cruz and the other heroes of the Senate sent out a memo announcing their intent to challenge the results. They plan to vote against the electors from the six states that are being challenged by the president.

Their letter stated that “When the voters fairly decide an election, pursuant to the rule of law the losing candidate should acknowledge and respect the legitimacy of that election. And, if the voters choose to elect a new office-holder, our Nation should have a peaceful transfer of power.”

Cruz and the many other Senators see that there has not been a fair electoral process. They went on to point out that there were “unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations and lax enforcement of election law, and other voting irregularities.” People cannot ignore the thousands of accounts of fraud that are coming to the surface.

The Democrats act like this is the first time this kind of challenge has happened.

But Cruz pointed out that “At that quadrennial joint session, there is long precedent of Democratic Members of Congress raising objections to presidential election results, as they did in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017. And, in both 1969 and 2005, a Democratic Senator joined with a Democratic House Member in forcing votes in both houses on whether to accept the presidential electors being challenged.”

The American voter mostly does not trust the electoral process. It was proved that “[T]hose allegations are not believed just by one individual candidate. Instead, they are widespread. Reuters/Ipsos polling, tragically, shows that 39% of Americans believe ‘the election was rigged.’ That belief is held by Republicans (67%), Democrats (17%), and Independents (31%).”

And as a result, several Senators “intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given’ and ‘lawfully certified’ (the statutory requisite), unless and until [an] emergency 10-day audit is completed.”

In his wisdom, Cruz is demanding that an audit be done to authenticate the election results. If the Democrats have acted honestly, then there is nothing that they have to fear in such an audit. But the truth is that they are going to object to the audit because they have everything to hide.

Cruz maintains that this kind of audit would set to improve the faith that the people have in their vote moving forward. People want to know that their vote matters and is counted legally.

They do not want to feel that their vote was canceled because of another party’s fraudulent actions. Cruz and the other Republicans want to protect the election process and ensure that it is kept fair for future generations.

The courts have not been favorable to the president and his challenges. The liberal judges will never deal fairly with the evidence.

Many of them have failed to consider the possibility that their party cheated to the degree they are being accused of. And some of these liberal judges are in on the fraud and do not want to be exposed as a crooked judge.
