Schools Must Comply with Pro-Trans Policies…or Else

The Biden administration has really done it this time. They want every public school to comply with pro-trans policies – or they won’t receive the federal funding that they desperately need to stay operational.

The pro-trans policies are hard to accept. It involves allowing boys into the girls’ restrooms simply because they “identify” as a girl. It involves allowing boys onto the sports teams of girls because they “identify” a certain way.

It’s a dangerous and slippery slope.

At what point do schools say that they won’t comply? Girls have to be protected. They cannot simply allow boys to invade every personal space simply because they are confused about their gender – or making a statement so that they can prey on the girls.

Liberals love to claim that boys who identify as girls are girls. But that’s not the case. And we’ve seen too many stories where it doesn’t end well for the girls who are forced to allow the boy into the bathroom, the locker room, or anywhere else.

We’re supposed to simply accept the “new norm” with open arms. We’re not allowed to ask questions – if we do, we’re labeled as having transphobia.

But now, with the new changes that the Biden administration wants to push down, schools may suffer financially. It’s unfathomable and unacceptable.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will be changing the way that Title IX prohibitions on discrimination are interpreted. The discrimination on sex will be interpreted to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

By doing this, the rule change will tie federal education funding to LGBT policies.

Any school that receives funding, ranging from federally subsidized school lunch funding to Pell grants to FAFSA will be subjected to this new interpretation.

The USDA made a statement to explain what they have done and how it impacts schools. “As a result, state and local agencies, program operators and sponsors that receive funds from FNS must investigate allegations of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. Those organizations must also update their non-discrimination policies and signage to include prohibitions against discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.”

All it would take is for one person to make a complaint that they were discriminated against for a school to lose funding.

It means that K-12 schools and universities alike are going to have to make big changes – and it’s going to impact more non-LGBT students than it will benefit LGBT students.

This is a perfect example of how the liberal left focuses on the needs of the few at the inconvenience of the many.

The published rule change that will occur by the USDA later this year will codify the policy that will prevent schools from discriminating.

According to the White House last year, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”

Apparently, it’s to hell with the girl who just saw a boy walk through her locker room when she was partially dressed. And for the girl who has busted her butt every day to become a top female athlete, she’ll be sitting on the bench as a transgender girl/biological boy takes the top position because of the way natural biology takes over.

A legal expert at the Heritage Foundation, Sarah Perry, discusses how the rule change would also remove certain due process protections. Accusing someone of sexual harassment or assault could be more difficult. And misgendering a person could be considered harassment.

Under the Title IX changes, something as simple as not referring to a person using their preferred pronoun such as he/him or they/them could even land a school into legal trouble.

Welcome to Biden’s America where free speech is muzzled and biological women are told to take a backseat to the transgenders of the country.
