Trump Warns that China Taking Taiwan is Next…And It Would Never Have Happened Under His Leadership

While most of the world is focused on Russia invading Ukraine, former President Donald Trump has his eye on Taiwan and the massive power of the nation of China. Trump said that China is going to move next, and he believes that they will go after Taiwan now because of Biden’s weak leadership.

Trump was being asked this week about the tension between Russia and Ukraine. He took the opportunity to talk about what he sees coming next. After stating that China was going to make a move, he said that the powerful communist nation would not have made the move under his presidency. Trump believes that China has been waiting until after the Olympics are over. The nation has, for a long time, asserted that Taiwan is still officially a part of its territory.

After saying that this kind of aggression would never have happened while he was in the Oval Office, he noted that even the liberal press is now asking why Putin did not invade Ukraine during his presidency. In fact, Chuck Todd from NBC asked that very question. Trump talked about how well he knew Putin and that he liked him. He said that Putin was a “tough cookie,” but he had a lot of charm, pride, and he loved his country.

The former president talked about his conversations with Putin about Ukraine. Trump said that he knew Putin wanted it back, and he said that probably no one knows Putin better because of how much they discussed things like Ukraine.

Trump said that what Putin did in Ukraine was actually “genius,” “smart” and “savvy.” Putin declared a portion of the country independent, and Trump said that it was wonderful and smart. Now, Putin will be able to go into Ukraine as a “peacekeeper.” Trump reiterated that this kind of move would have never happened under his leadership.

“This would never have happened. But here’s a guy that says, you know, ‘I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent,’ he used the word ‘independent,’ ‘and we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep the peace.’ You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn’t have one for that. No, it’s very sad. Very sad,” Trump said.

The former president likened Putin and Xi, the president of China, to “twin sisters.” He said they both wanted another country equally as badly. And, then, he said again that neither of them would have acted while he was at the helm. He also said that North Korea has not “acted up” for four years.

Putin advanced his peacekeeping troops into the regions that are now being called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). The regions are being led now by pro-Russian separatists. And many experts believe that the stage is now set for a full-scale invasion of the whole country.

Biden, along with other leaders in the West, immediately began to put sanctions on Russia. Germany stopped the certification process for the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline. Biden’s sanctions will target two Kremlin-backed banks and also they will restrict the trading of Russian debt on the financial markets in the West. Biden just threatened to include sanctions against Russian oligarchs and their families. The president said, “They share in the corrupt gains of the Kremlin policies and should share in the pain as well.”

When Jen Psaki was asked about former President Trump’s comments, she brushed them off and said that they did not take advice from someone who praises President Putin and his military strategy.

So, Trump wants the world to look at their “stopwatches”…it’s just a matter of time before China makes its move on Taiwan.
