Ashli Babbitt‘s husband Aaron Babbitt and her attorney Terrell Roberts have been trying their best to spread the word about the unfair treatment that she has received. They have faced a wide range of challenges when it comes to receiving information about her alleged killer. This gunman is employed by the government but they cannot obtain any useful data.
In June, Aaron and Terrell had a sit down with Tucker Carlson to further discuss the matter. Carlson had some important questions to ask and we were glad to see someone taking the initiative:
“Mr. Roberts, let me ask you, there are reports online, that’s incredible I don’t know if they’re true, that the Capitol Hill police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt, I’m not going to mention the name, was the same officer that left his loaded handgun in a public men’s room on the Capitol. Do you believe that is the officer, it seems like a very reckless person, who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt on January 6th?” he asked.
This is a good question, for sure. Attorney Roberts said that this was his belief, as well. The entire exchange is well worth your time. Now, the Gateway Pundit has shared some information that is sure to break this whole thing wide open. One of their avid readers has sent in a piece of evidence that is meant to help identify the killer.
The aforementioned officer who left their gun in the restroom is Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd. The reader who sent the evidence to Gateway Pundit, in an eerie coincidence, is also named Michael. The following is a report from Roll Call on the matter from back in 2019:
A U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant left his service weapon in a bathroom Monday night and the unattended gun was discovered later by another Capitol Police officer.
“After the House adjourned on Monday, Lt. Mike Byrd left his Glock 22 in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center complex, according to sources familiar with the incident. Byrd is the commander of the House Chambers section of the Capitol Police and was on the job Tuesday and Wednesday.”
How on earth was this man still a part of the police after these dangerous actions? He should have been relieved of his duties as soon as this happened. Now, the lieutenant’s name is being kept away from the attorneys who are looking to bring Babbitt’s killer to justice. The pictures that have surfaced of the officer prove the points that are being made but again nothing is being done about it.
One of the photos that the Gateway Pundit obtained of the officer shows him aiming his gun in the direction of his own colleagues! Every possible rule that relates to gun safety was violated here. The officer even has his finger clearly wrapped around the trigger. This man was ready to kill at a moment’s notice and it is going to be hard for us to get this image out of our heads for the foreseeable future.
The officer’s statement about the shooting makes no sense at all. He claims that Babbitt was wearing a backpack at the time, which compounded his fears. What does that have to do with anything? He also claimed that he couldn’t see three other uniformed officers next to Babbitt. One of those statements has to be a lie. How is it possible for him to see Babbitt’s backpack but not the three officers? There’s no good question to that question.
This man must have X-ray vision or something along those lines. “If he’s not cleared, we don’t have a country we want to live in anymore,” said Mark Schamel. The shameless statement from Schamel comes as no surprise, as he is the defense attorney for the shooter. This man ought to feel a certain sense of loyalty to his country but his only loyalty lies with the almighty dollar, which is sad to see. Hopefully, this case is resolved in the proper manner eventually.
